Universal, trailed cultivator KPU-12

Universal, trailed cultivators KPU-12 (12 m) are used for secondary tillage, autumn plowing, cultivation of fallow lands, stubble ripping and killing of weeds.

Cultivators may be used and operated in any agro-climatic zone, including those exposed to wind and water erosion, on any type of soil, including slightly stony soils (5-7 cm) under the following conditions: humidity up to 25% and soil hardness up to 1.2 MPa.

Within one field pass, cultivators perform the following operations:

- Soil loosening to a depth of up to 12 cm;

- Effective soil pulverization;

- Field surface levelling;

- Killing of weeds;- Controllable compaction of the top layer.

Configuration 1:

- S-type tine 65х12 (“Bellota”)

- Share 230 or 260 mm (“Bellota”)

- 2 rows of weeding harrows (tooth diameter 12 мм, “Bellota”) – option

- Reinforced single rollers

- 2 central carrier wheels 400/60-15,5

- 2 side carrier wheels 300/80-15,3

Wider wheels enable to cultivate loose and marshy soils without falling into them.

Configuration 2:

- S-type tine 45х12 (“Bellota”)

- Share 200 mm (“Bellota”)

- 2 rows of weeding harrows (tooth diameter 12 mm, “Bellota”) – option

- Reinforced single rollers

- 2 central carrier wheels 400/60-15,5

- 2 side carrier wheels 300/80-15,3

Wider wheels enable to cultivate loose and marshy soils without falling into them.

Roller configurations:

- Pipe rollers

- Sectional rollers

- Coiled rollers

Fully hydraulically-operated folding.

Due to a more practical and rational arrangement of operating tools, cultivators are no more clogged with weeds and crop residues. S-tines, a number of which is increased, enable to cultivate stubbles, heavy soils and ill-prepared agricultural soils.

The frame structure includes pipes, made of constructional low-alloyed steel 09Г2С:

Front and rear carriers, longitudinal reinforcing elements - pipe 120х120х6

Roller carrier – pipe 100х100х6

Carrying beam, which tines are mounted onto – pipe 60х60х6.

The depth of cultivation is adjusted mechanically.
